Plan scales
Subregulation 1
Except under circumstances which are, in the opinion of the Chief Surveyor, unusual, certified plans must be plotted according to the following scales:
(a)
for built-up areas, housing estates and party wall surveys — 1:100, 1:200 or 1:500; (b)for other surveys — 1:1,000, 1:2,000, 1:5,000 or 1:10,000.
Subregulation 2
The scale on which a certified plan is drawn must be so selected such that the information of each land lot can be clearly seen.
Subregulation 3
If, on any part of a certified plan, measurements would otherwise be illegible or difficult to interpret, a diagram drawn on a scale larger than that of the plan or drawn not to scale may be added as an inset.
