Amendment of section 24

Section 24 of the Central Provident Fund Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “incapacitated”, the following definition:“ “member of the Scheme” means a person who is insured under the Scheme;”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “to whom the Scheme applies” in the definition of “premium” and substituting the words “of the Scheme”.
