Excluded payments
For the purposes of the definition of “platform earnings” in section 2(1) of the Act, the following payments that become due to a platform worker from a platform operator are excluded payments:
(a)
any payment to reimburse a platform worker for any amount incurred in respect of any relevant treatment received or to be received by the platform worker or an individual who is a dependant of the platform worker at the time that the payment becomes due;
(b)
any payment to reimburse any special expenses incurred by a platform worker by reason of the platform worker’s provision of a platform service.
