Regulation 2
For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “applicable person” in section 2(1) of the Act, the following are prescribed as applicable persons:
(a)
in relation to section 15(2)(b) of the Act — a Gurkha serving in the Gurkha Contingent of the Singapore Police Force;
(b)
in relation to sections 13(7B) and (7E)(b), 22(4B)(b) (in relation to the member and the member’s child or relative) and (4D), 25(1) and (1A), 26(1)(aa)(i) and 26B(1)(b) of the Act —
(i)
a Gurkha serving in the Gurkha Contingent of the Singapore Police Force; and
(ii)
a Gurkha who has served in the Gurkha Contingent of the Singapore Police Force but is no longer doing so.
