Regulation 4

Annual limit

Subregulation 1

For the purposes of section 13D of the Act, the aggregate of the specified amounts contributed to the Fund for the benefit of a person in 2022 or in any subsequent year must not exceed the annual limit of $37,740 in each year.

Subregulation 2

The specified amounts mentioned in paragraph (1) are as follows:

(a)

the amount contributed for the benefit of the person in that year which is obligatory under the Act, if any;

(b)

the amount of self-employed medisave voluntary contribution (if any) for the benefit of the person in that year;

(c)

the amount of voluntary estimated contribution (if any) for the benefit of the person in that year under regulation 17 of the Central Provident Fund (Self‑Employed Persons) Regulations 1992;

(d)

the amount of general voluntary contribution (if any) paid for the benefit of the person in that year (not being a pecuniary benefit transferred under section 73 of the Act).
