Clause 66

by deleting the definition of “Director” in section 2 and substituting the following definition:“ “Director‑General” means the Director‑General of Social Welfare and includes any person who is authorised by him to perform any of the duties or exercise any of the powers of the Director‑General under this Act or any of its regulations;”; and

by deleting the word “Director” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “Director‑General”:Sections 3(2), 4(2) and (3), 5, 6(1) and (2), 7, 8(1), 10, 11(1), (3) and (4), 13(1) and (2), 14(1) and (2), 15(1) and (2), 16(1) and (2)(a) and 20(2)(g), (3)(a), (b) and (c) and (4).
