Clause 10

Section 17 of the Companies Act is amended by deleting subsection (8) and substituting the following subsection:“(8) In relation to a holding company that is a company limited by guarantee, the reference in this section to shares shall be construed as including a reference to the interest of its members as such, whatever the form of that interest.”.
