Clause 24
Section 400 of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting subsections (3), (4) and (8); and
(b)
by deleting subsection (10) and substituting the following subsection:“(10) In this section, a reference to an offer or offering of shares for subscription or purchase shall be construed as including an offer of shares by way of barter or exchange.”.
