Clause 16
In the LLP Act, in section 47 —
(a)
in subsection (1), after “31 March 2017”, insert “but before the appointed day,”;
(b)
after subsection (1), insert —“(1A) A limited liability partnership registered under this Act on or after the appointed day must keep a register of its registrable controllers starting on the date of its registration.”;
(c)
in subsection (9)(a), after “subsection (1),”, insert “(1A),”; and
(d)
after subsection (9), insert —“(10) In this section, “appointed day” means the date of commencement of section 16 of the Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2024.”.
