Clause 5
Amendment of Article 35
Article 35 of the Constitution is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “acting in accordance” in clause (1) and substituting the words “if he, acting in his discretion, concurs”;
(b)
by deleting the words “acting in accordance” in the first line of paragraph (b) of the proviso to clause (4) and substituting the words “if he, acting in his discretion, concurs”; and
(c)
by deleting the words “acting in accordance” in the second line of clause (6)(a) and substituting the words “if he, acting in his discretion, concurs”.
