Amendment of section 246

Section 246 of the Code is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008 (Act 21 of 2008)” in the definition of “designated medical practitioner” and substituting the words “Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act (Cap. 178A)”; and

(b)

by deleting “2008” in the definitions of “principal officer” and “psychiatric institution”.
