Clause 18

Amendment of section 2

In the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, in section 2(1), after the definition of “serious offence”, insert —“ “serious scam offence” means —

(a)

any of the offences specified in the Fourth Schedule;

(b)

conspiracy to commit any of those offences;

(c)

inciting others to commit any of those offences;

(d)

attempting to commit any of those offences; or

(e)

aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring the commission of any of those offences;”.
