Clause 46
In the Penal Code 1871, in section 304C, replace subsection (4) with —“(4) Any person who is guilty of an offence under this section shall be punished with —
(a)
imprisonment for life and shall also be liable to caning; or
(b)
imprisonment for a term which may extend to 30 years, and shall also be liable to fine or to caning.”.
