Amendment of section 30
Section 30 of the Penal Code is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the words “a document” wherever they appear in subsection (1), the words “or an electronic record”; and
(b)
by re-lettering the existing illustration as illustration (a), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following illustration:“(b) An electronic bill of lading in the form of an electronic record in a secure electronic trading system is a “valuable security”.”.
