Clause 45
Security for good behaviour from habitual offenders
A court may require a person to show cause why he should not be ordered to execute a bond for his good behaviour for a period not exceeding 2 years, if it appears to the court that —
(a)
the person habitually commits offences;
(b)
the person habitually associates with robbers, housebreakers, thieves, prostitutes or people who have no apparent means of subsistence; or
(c)
the person is so desperate or dangerous as to pose a risk to the community when at large.
