Special administration order
(1)
A special administration order is an order of the Minister made in accordance with section 22 in relation to a licensee and directing that, during the period for which the order is in force, the affairs, business and property of the licensee shall be managed by any person appointed by the Minister for the achievement of the security and reliability of the provision of district cooling services.
(2)
Any person appointed by the Minister under subsection (1) shall be deemed an agent of the licensee and the licensee shall be responsible for that person’s acts or defaults.
(3)
The Minister may make regulations to give effect to this Part, including making provision for applying, omitting or modifying the provisions of Part VIIIA of the Companies Act (Cap. 50) where a special administration order is made.
