Amendment of section 32
Section 32 of the principal Act is amended —
by inserting, immediately after the words “authorised by” in the 1st line of subsection (1), the words “and in circumstances prescribed in”;
by deleting the word “if” in the 7th line of subsection (1) and substituting the words “as if”;
by deleting the words “a drug trafficking offence” in the 7th and 8th lines of subsection (1) and substituting the words “drug trafficking or criminal conduct, as the case may be,”;
by deleting the words “foreign offence” wherever they appear in subsections (1), (2) and (3) and substituting in each case the words “foreign drug trafficking offence or foreign serious offence, as the case may be”;
by deleting the words “foreign offences” in the marginal note and substituting the words “foreign drug trafficking offence or foreign serious offence”;
by deleting the words “an authority of the foreign country” in the 7th and 8th lines of subsection (3) and substituting the words “a foreign authority”; and
by inserting, immediately after the word “material” wherever it appears in subsection (3), the words “or thing”.
