Savings

(1)

Nothing in section 3 of this Act shall —

(a)

operate to create a new legal entity;

(b)

prejudice or affect the identity of the body corporate constituted by the Economic Development Board or its continuity as a body corporate;

(c)

affect the exercise of any right, or the enforcement of any obligation by or against the Economic Development Board, or any other person; or

(d)

render defective any legal proceedings by or against the Economic Development Board.

(2)

Any person who, immediately before the date of commencement of this Act, is an officer or employee appointed or employed under section 9 of the principal Act shall be deemed to be an officer or employee appointed or employed under that section as amended by this Act.

(3)

Every committee appointed under section 12 of the principal Act immediately before the date of commencement of this Act shall be deemed to be a committee appointed under that section as amended by this Act.
