Amendment of section 11
Section 11 of the Employment Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “salary” in the fifth line of subsection (1), the words “at the gross rate of pay”;
(b)
by deleting the words “calculated in accordance with the appropriate formula in section 51” in the penultimate and last lines of subsection (1) and substituting the words “the gross rate of pay for one day’s work”;
(c)
by deleting subsection (2); and
(d)
by renumbering subsection (3) as subsection (2).
