Savings
of Employment (Amendment) Bill
Notwithstanding anything in this Act, where —
the terms of service under which a person is employed are provided for in a contract of service or collective agreement entered into before the commencement of this Act; and
that contract of service or collective agreement complies with the provisions of the Employment Act [Cap. 91] in force immediately before the commencement of this Act,such terms of service shall, in so far as they are more favourable to the employee than the provisions of the Employment Act after the commencement of this Act, continue to apply unless the parties to the contract of service or the collective agreement, as the case may be, otherwise agree.
