Clause 7

Section 13 of the Vigilante Corps Act (Cap. 80) is hereby repealed.

Section 12 of the Finance Act (Cap. 139) is hereby amended by deleting the definition of “payroll” appearing therein and substituting therefor the following: —“ “payroll” means the total remuneration paid by or on behalf of an employer to his employees in any month and includes a proportion of the civilian remuneration which an employer is liable to pay to his employees pursuant to section 24 of the Enlistment Act (Cap. 229);”.
