Clause 8
Permit for certain works on scheduled premises
(1)
The owner or occupier of any scheduled premises shall not without the written permission of the Director —
alter the method of operation of any trade or industrial process, fuel burning equipment, control equipment, treatment plant or industrial plant in or on the scheduled premises;
install, alter or replace any fuel burning equipment, control equipment, treatment plant or industrial plant in or on the scheduled premises;
erect or alter the height or dimension of any chimney through which air impurities may be emitted from the scheduled premises; or
use any fuel other than the type of fuel specified in writing by the Director.
(2)
An application for a permit under subsection (1) shall contain details of the proposed installation, alteration, replacement or erection.
