Clause 19

The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 85 thereof the following new section: —“Power to enter into and search premises used for offensive trades85A. The Commissioner, any Medical Officer of Health or any public health auxiliary may, at any time, enter into and inspect and search any premises which are used, or which he has reasonable grounds for believing to be used, for any of the purposes set out in the Second Schedule to this Act.”.
