Clause 5

The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 24 thereof the following new section: —“Prohibition on use of night-soil for manuring earth in pots, etc24A. Any person who uses night-soil or human excreta for the purpose of manuring any earth, soil or other substance contained in any pot, box, container or other receptacle shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars.”.
