Clause 17

Section 110A of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Persons who may be authorised to exercise powers of Commissioner110A. The Commissioner may, with the approval of the Minister in writing in that behalf, authorise any person set out in the first column of the Fifth Schedule to exercise all or any of the powers under this Act and any regulations made thereunder that are set out in the second column of that Schedule, subject to such conditions or limitations as the Commissioner may specify.”.
