Notice requiring removal of toxic industrial waste from premises
Subregulation 1
If, in the opinion of the Director-General, the toxic industrial waste stored in any premises is likely to threaten the health or safety of any person or to cause pollution to the environment, the Director-General may, by notice in writing, require the owner or occupier of the premises to remove the toxic industrial waste to a disposal facility within a stipulated period.
Subregulation 2
The Director-General may, by notice in writing, require the owner or occupier upon whom a notice has been served under paragraph (1) to furnish evidence that the industrial waste from the premises has been disposed of at a disposal facility in accordance with the notice.
