Clause 12

Section 30 of the Factories Act is amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following subsection:“(2) No lifting gear shall be used unless it has been tested and examined by an approved person and a certificate of such test and examination, specifying the safe working load and signed by the approved person, has been obtained and is kept available for inspection.”.
