Clause 24
(1)
Any person who knowingly gives or causes to be given a false alarm of fire to the Fire Service or to the Police shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
(2)
For the purpose of this section, “false alarm of fire” includes a false call for the ambulance or other services provided by the Fire Service.
