Clause 27

Public notice of revocation of declaration

(1)

Where a declaration under section 24, 25(1)(b) or 26(3)(b) or (c) is revoked under this Act, the competent authority must give notice of the revocation —

(a)

in the same manner in which the notice of the making of the declaration was first given; or

(b)

in a manner as will secure adequate publicity or notice to the proprietor (or both) for the fact of the revocation.

(2)

However, failure to publish a notice under subsection (1) in respect of any declaration does not invalidate the revocation of the declaration.
