Disposal of detained goods

Clause 65
If the importer or exporter (as the case may be) does not take custody of the detained goods within such prescribed period after the notification by the Director-General of the release of the goods to the importer or exporter (as the case may be), the Director-General may dispose of the goods —
(a)
in the manner prescribed by rules made under this Act; or
(b)
if no manner of disposal is so prescribed, as the Director-General directs.
