Definitions
In this Order —“National Cadet Corps” means the National Cadet Corps established under the National Cadet Corps Act 1972;“National Police Cadet Corps” means the corps established under section 3(a) of the Home Team Corps Act 2017;“NCC member” means an officer of, or a cadet in, the National Cadet Corps, and includes an individual undergoing an NCC officer cadet course;“NCC officer” means an individual appointed as such under section 9 of the National Cadet Corps Act 1972;“NPCC member” means an individual enrolled under section 9 of the Home Team Corps Act 2017 in the National Police Cadet Corps, and includes an individual undergoing an NPCC officer cadet course;“NPCC officer” means an individual appointed as —
an officer of the National Police Cadet Corps under section 7(1)(a) of the Home Team Corps Act 2017;
an honorary officer of the National Police Cadet Corps under section 7(2)(a) of the Home Team Corps Act 2017; or
an honorary instructor of the National Police Cadet Corps under section 7(3) of the Home Team Corps Act 2017;“responsible military officer”, in relation to the National Cadet Corps, means a member of the Singapore Armed Forces seconded for full‑time or part‑time service in the National Cadet Corps under section 10 of the National Cadet Corps Act 1972;“responsible police officer”, in relation to the National Police Cadet Corps, means a member of the Singapore Police Force seconded for full‑time or part‑time service in the National Police Cadet Corps under section 8(1) of the Home Team Corps Act 2017.
