Clause 2

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires —“appointed day” means the date of commencement of this Act;“Board” means the Health Promotion Board established under section 3;“Chairman” means the Chairman of the Board and includes a temporary Chairman appointed under section 8;“Chief Executive” means the Chief Executive of the Board appointed under section 15 and includes any person acting in that capacity;“member” means a member of the Board.
