Staffing requirements
Subregulation 1
A licensee must ensure that there is an adequate number of personnel present at every approved permanent premises so as to enable the licensee to provide an acute hospital service to every patient at those premises in a proper, effective and safe manner.
Subregulation 2
Without limiting paragraph (1), a licensee must ensure that —
there is an adequate number of medical practitioners at each of the licensee’s approved permanent premises to assess every patient at those premises and provide medical care or intervention, if necessary; and
every patient is assigned an attending medical practitioner who has overall responsibility for the patient’s general medical condition.
