Regulation 19

assess the medical condition of every patient and determine whether a dietetic plan needs to be formulated for the patient;

where it is determined that a dietetic plan needs to be formulated for a patient, ensure that —

the dietetic plan is formulated, taking into account the patient’s medical condition, and meets the patient’s nutritional requirements; and (ii)food for the patient that is prepared or otherwise provided by the licensee is prepared or provided in accordance with the dietetic plan; (c)ensure that a dietitian assesses the nutritional value of any food provided by the licensee to every patient; and

ensure that food provided by the licensee to every patient is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
