Notification of infectious diseases

For the purposes of the requirement in the Infectious Diseases Act 1976 to notify the Director-General of prescribed infectious diseases, a licensee must establish, implement and maintain an appropriate process or system to facilitate the notification under that Act of any such infectious disease that any of the following persons is suffering or suspected to suffer:
(a)
a patient of the licensee; (b)a person who is referred to the licensee by another licensee for care or treatment.
