Regulation 25
Provision of information relating to human tissue distributed for transplant
Subregulation 1
This regulation applies to a licensee in relation to any human tissue distributed by the licensee to a transplanting licensee for the purpose of transplant.
Subregulation 2
The licensee must, in relation to the human tissue distributed, provide the results of tests conducted on the human tissue and the results of all screenings of the donor to the transplanting licensee and the transplanting clinician.
Subregulation 3
The licensee must, upon request by the transplanting licensee or the transplanting clinician, make available the following information to the transplanting licensee or transplanting clinician, as the case may be:
the medical history of the donor;
information relating to the licensee’s testing and processing of the human tissue.
Subregulation 4
The licensee must obtain from the transplanting clinician the following information, within the time that a Clinical Governance Officer or any other suitably qualified personnel designated by a Clinical Governance Officer considers appropriate after the transplant has taken place:
information concerning any adverse reaction arising from the transplant of the human tissue;
information about the recipient of the human tissue.
Subregulation 5
This regulation is subject to any prohibition or restriction under any other written law.
