Clause 1

Short title, commencement and application

This Act may be cited as the Hire-Purchase (Amendment) Act 2004 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.(2) This Act shall not apply to hire-purchase agreements entered into before the date of commencement of this Act.
