Voting offences
Subregulation 1
Any person who —
votes in person at a poll on any proposal knowing that the person appointed as his proxy at the poll has already voted in person at the poll in respect of that same proposal; (b)votes as proxy for any person at a poll on any proposal knowing that that person has already voted in person at the poll in respect of that same proposal; or (c)votes in person, or as proxy on behalf of a registered owner, or as a representative of a registered owner who is a company, more than once in the same poll and on the same proposal, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
Subregulation 2
In this rule, “proposal” means a proposal to carry out general upgrading works in a precinct or a proposal to carry out specified upgrading works, special upgrading works, flat upgrading works or commercial property upgrading works.
