Subject to sub‑paragraph (2), the Secretary‑General of the OECD and the Executive Director of the IEA are exempt from section 9B(1) of the Act.

The exemption from section 9B(1) of the Act conferred by sub‑paragraph (1) does not apply to the Secretary‑General of the OECD or the Executive Director of the IEA if, in any particular case, the exemption is waived by the OECD.

The exemption under sub‑paragraph (1) does not affect the exemptions under the Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) Order 2026 (G.N. No. S 441/2026).
