Clause 1
Short title
This Act may be cited as the Income Tax (Amendment) Act, 1979.(2) Sections 8(a), 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 and 20 of this Act shall have effect for the year of assessment 1978 and subsequent years of assessment.(3) Sections 2, 3(b), 6 and 7 of this Act shall have effect for the year of assessment 1979 and subsequent years of assessment.(4) Sections 8(b) and 10 of this Act shall have effect for the year of assessment 1980 and subsequent years of assessment.

This Act may be cited as the Income Tax (Amendment) Act, 1979.
(2)
Sections 8(a), 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 and 20 of this Act shall have effect for the year of assessment 1978 and subsequent years of assessment.
(3)
Sections 2, 3(b), 6 and 7 of this Act shall have effect for the year of assessment 1979 and subsequent years of assessment.
(4)
Sections 8(b) and 10 of this Act shall have effect for the year of assessment 1980 and subsequent years of assessment.
