Regulation 2

Exemption

There shall be exempt from tax the payments by Lenovo (Singapore) Pte Ltd from 1st May 2005 to 30th April 2010 (both dates inclusive) to —

(a)

IBM (US) for services rendered under the Transition Services Agreement and the Marketing Support Agreement; and

(b)

related Lenovo parties for services rendered in area of Research & Development and Regional Headquarters’ functions.
