Amendment of section 59A
In the principal Act, in section 59A —
(a)
in subsection (3)(a), after “any person”, insert “or class of persons”;
(b)
in subsection (3)(a)(i) and (ii), after “that person”, insert “or any person in that class of persons”;
(c)
in subsection (3)(b), delete “and” at the end;
(d)
in subsection (3), after paragraph (b), insert —“(ba)impose any condition that the Director‑General of Health thinks fit on any person mentioned in paragraph (a) or any medical practitioner mentioned in paragraph (b) relating to the provision or obtaining of the information or sample; and”;
(e)
in subsection (7), after “any person”, insert “(including any person in a class of persons)”; and
(f)
in subsection (7)(c), after “subsection”, insert “(3) or”.
