Regulation 5A

For the purposes of section 6(2) of the Act, the prescribed time for notification by a person in charge of a laboratory who becomes aware of the existence of a prescribed infectious disease mentioned in the second column of Part 1 or 3 (as the case may be) of the Schedule is the time specified in the third column of that Part that corresponds to that prescribed infectious disease, starting when the person becomes so aware.
