Clause 18

Any proceedings or cause of action pending or existing immediately before the appointed day by or against the Vocational and Industrial Training Board in respect of the lands, buildings and other properties, movable or immovable, transferred under section 16 and the rights, interests, obligations and liabilities in connection therewith or appertaining thereto may be continued and enforced by or against the Institute as it might have been by or against the Vocational and Industrial Training Board as if this Act had not been enacted.
