Clause 39

Section 2 of the Societies Act (Cap. 311) is amended by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (f) of the definition of “society”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(fa)any class, society or association of foreign insurers carrying on insurance business in Singapore under any foreign insurer scheme established under Part IIA of the Insurance Act (Cap. 142); or”.
