Administration of place of detention

Subject to the directions of the Minister —
(a)
the general charge and administration of a place of detention vests in the officer-in-charge of the place of detention; and
(b)
the control of the officers employed at or deployed to a place of detention vests in the officer-in-charge of the place of detention, who may direct the deployment or transfer of any such officers within that place of detention, as the officer-in-charge thinks fit.
