Power to compel attendance of witness
(1)
The High Court or a Judge thereof may order that a writ of subpoena ad testificandum or a writ of subpoena duces tecum shall issue to compel the attendance before an arbitral tribunal of a witness wherever he may be within Singapore.
(2)
The High Court or a Judge thereof may also issue an order under section 27 of the Prisons Act [Cap. 247] to bring up a prisoner for examination before an arbitral tribunal.
