Clause 17

Legal aid

Subject to the provisions of this Part, the Director may grant legal aid in connection with any proceedings under section 8 or 14 to any person —

(a)

who is a citizen of, or habitually resident in, Singapore or a Contracting State; and

(b)

who is or will be —

(i)

a party to the proceedings under section 8; or

(ii)

the applicant in the proceedings under section 14.
