This Act may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment) Act, 1969, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January 1969.

Clause 2

Amendment of Schedule

The Schedule to the Judges’ Remuneration Act, 1963, is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting the figures “30,840” appearing in the second column thereof against the expression “Chief Justice of High Court in Singapore” and substituting therefor the figures “42,000”; and

(b)

by deleting the figures “25,200” appearing in the second column thereof against the expression “Other judges of High Court in Singapore” and substituting therefor the figures “32,400”.
