Clause 2

Date of coming into operation of amendments effected by previous amending Act

The amendments effected to the Jurong Town Corporation Act, 1968 (hereinafter in this Act referred to as “the principal Act”) by the Jurong Town Corporation (Amendment) Act, 1970, shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 4th day of September, 1970 (Act 36 of 1970).
